Front End – Sr. Software Engineer

Sharethrough is looking for a front-end developer to help create engaging, interactive advertising experiences used by millions of people daily. You'll use tools like Backbone.js, jQuery and Jasmine to deliver low-footprint, performant JavaScript across our network of top publishers… on your first day. We deploy continuously; the code you write on day one will be used to launch a campaign on day one. That doesn't mean we're cowboys – we rigorously test-drive and you're passionate about quality too!

Responsibilities

Develop new features in Rails, HTML/CSS and JavaScript using Backbone.js and jQuery
Ensure quality through test-driven development using RSpec and Jasmine
Collaborate with product owners and interaction designers

Requirements

Demonstrable experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and a modern web framework
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team
Strong command of web standards and cross-browser compatibility

Pluses

Experience with Rails 3, Backbone.js, jQuery and Jasmine
Experience with HTML5 video and Flash
