Dan Greenberg is the co-founder and CEO for Sharethrough. Dan is a recognized leading authority on social advertising and branded video distribution and how persuasion strategies and digital technology can drive consumer behavior. Dan has previously been named an Ad Age Media Maven, is a regular speaker at major advertising and technology conferences and contributor for industry publications, including Forbes, Advertising Age and TechCrunch. While an undergrad at Stanford, Greenberg studied persuasive technologies and later was the lead course assistant for the first-ever “Facebook Class.”
Rob leads all product and technology strategy for the company. He is a practitioner, student and teacher of the “lean startup” methodology. In his spare time, Rob, hacks and plays with new technology and advises early-stage startups about the successes and pitfalls he has learned thus far. Prior to Sharethrough, Rob worked as a technology consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton advising various three-letter government agencies. As an early adopter of the Facebook platform, Rob was one of the teaching assistants for the first-ever “Facebook Class” while at Stanford. Rob holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a MS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
Jay Webster leads product strategy at Sharethrough. He has over 20 years of experience working in almost every aspect of technology startups. Jay previously served as Chief Product Officer of Quova, where he guided product development until their acquisition by Neustar. Previous to Quova, Jay was President and COO of Consorte Media, GM of Lead Generation for Yahoo!, GM of Performance Marketing and CTO for BlueLithium (acquired by Yahoo for $300 million), VP of Engineering for Adteractive, Inc., as well as President and CTO for Fathom Online. Jay is active in philanthropy through his association with Little Kids Rock and his hobbies include motor sports, guitar, and triathlons.
Lauren oversees all sales activities at Sharethrough. Prior to Sharethrough, Lauren spent 10 years growing and driving an impressive account portfolio at Forbes Media and leading all West Coast sales. In her spare time, she competes in triathlons and recently started up a new passion for mountain biking in the Santa Cruz mountains.
Hindol is Vice President of Finance and Operations at Sharethrough. Prior to Sharethrough, Mr. Hindol Datta served as Vice President of Finance at Cryptic Studios, Inc. and as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Administration at Atari. Mr. Datta has almost 17 years of experience in accounting, finance, systems, strategy and operations. He was one of the earliest employees and a key contributor to Adteractive, overseeing operations and finance as profitably grew from $15M to $150M in revenues in less than two years. Prior to internet marketing, he worked as Director of Strategic Planning in mobile telecommunications and Operations Controller in a medical device company which was acquired by the Great Nordic Group. Hindol holds Masters’ degrees in Applied Economics and Accounting from California State University, and Engineering Economics from California Institute of Technology.
Chris leads marketing strategy at Sharethrough. Prior to Sharethrough, Chris worked in the Global Communications and Public Affairs Department for Google, helping design and execute communications strategy for key consumer applications and social media initiatives. Earlier in his career Chris worked in content strategy roles for major entertainment brands, including Late Night with Conan O’Brien and CBS Sportsline.
Rob pulls from his past experience in product definition, design and project management to add a different perspective to the engineering team. After reading the book ‘Four Steps to the Epiphany,’ Rob knew that he wanted to work for a Lean Startup, which made for a perfect match with Sharethrough. Along with his passion for engineering, Rob loves to hike and travel (though in 2006, he had to be evacuated off of Mount Kilimanjaro because he blacked out at 18000 feet.)
Raena leads the operations team at sharethrough. Prior to joining the company Raena was the Director of Operations and Accounts at Bcode Inc managing finance, hr and general company operations. Raena has extensive startup experience and has a genuine passion for startup culture and visionary companies. She loves friends, family, San Francisco and her home Sydney, Australia.
Cali Tran, Principal at North Bridge Venture Partners, specializes in Internet and wireless innovations. He is based in California. Prior to North Bridge, Cali was the Co-founder and Vice President of Corporate Development at Agilix Labs, an award winning venture-backed mobile learning company providing solutions to firms such as Blackboard [NASDAQ: BBBB] and FranklinCovey [NYSE:FC]. Before Agilix, Cali was at Ancestry.com [NASDAQ: ACOM], a subscription-based genealogy company, where he helped lead the firm’s early corporate development efforts and raised the first three rounds of capital. Cali started his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse First Boston.
Mike Maples, Jr. is the managing partner of FLOODGATE, and was recently named as one of “8 Rising VC Stars” by Fortune Magazine for his investments in business and consumer technology companies. Before becoming a full-time investor, Mike was an entrepreneur and operating executive who worked in a variety of senior management roles in high-growth companies. His background spans a variety of markets including consumer technology, small business, and the enterprise, and he has led various functions in product development, marketing, business development, and corporate strategy.
