We are really excited to be participating again in The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the world’s largest gathering of creativity in communications. Each year Cannes brings together the greatest creative minds in advertising to network with their peers, celebrate creative breakthroughs in advertising, and win awards — needless to say, we are fans of the event.
Sharethrough’s CEO, Dan Greenberg will be participating in a forum titled, “Initiative: Start Me Up! How Entrepreneurs Can Be Partners For Success in Marketing.” Accompanying Dan on the forum’s panel will be a dynamic group, which includes Nick Pahade, President/CEO of Initiative North America, Billy Lagor, Head of US Marketing for Hasbro, Jim Trebilcock, Chief Marketing Officer of Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Brian Wong, Founder/CEO of Kiip, and moderator Rober Safian, Editor/Managing Director at Fast Company. The focus of the conversation will be to define the core attributes of entrepreneurialism and relevant success factors that make certain start-ups most exciting and strategic to large brand advertisers.
One thing we know here at Sharethrough is that start-ups rock…well, some of them. It takes a focused team, thoughtful planning, and great products for a start-up to break through the clutter and make a real impact for a brand. Start-ups have to be able to both handle the size and complexity of a national brand brand campaign, while also delivering on the promise to be the “new new” — what’s the secret to accomplishing both? In tomorrow’s forum, Dan will touch on these issues and share additional insights he has gathered through Sharethrough’s work with the world’s top brands.
This should be a intriguing forum for all in attendance, and Sharethrough is stoked to be a part of it. We’ll be sharing more insights from the panel later in the week, until then, Au Revoir!
